Rental terms
1. General
These terms apply to all rental agreements between Right to Roam and the renter.
2. Rental period
Fixed durations of 7, 14 or 21 days. Pickup and return take place on Saturday or Sunday.
3. Deposit, damage and loss
A refundable €750 deposit is invoiced separately, no later than 48 hours before pickup. Damage or loss is settled against the deposit at the replacement cost of the affected item(s). Normal wear and tear from regular use is explicitly not charged. Any deduction is itemised and communicated in advance; the remainder of the deposit is refunded.
4. Responsibility
The renter is responsible for the rented equipment from pickup until return. In case of a late return the renter contacts Right to Roam as soon as possible; late returns can affect the next renter and may lead to a deposit deduction per extra day.
5. Cancellation and rebooking
Cancel up to 21 days before pickup for a full refund of the rental price. Cancel up to 7 days before pickup for a 50% refund. Within 7 days of pickup no refund is due, but the renter is entitled to one free rebooking to another available weekend within 12 months of the original pickup date.
6. Liability
Right to Roam is not liable for damages resulting from misuse of the equipment.
